제품의 판매가격 중, 약 30%이상은 유통수수료로 책정됩니다.

마더그라운드는 별도의 유통단계 없이 mother-ground.com 에서만 판매합니다.

이를 통해 소비자는 저렴한 가격에 구매할 수 있습니다.

Normally, distribution expenses occupy at least 30% of retail price.

Mother ground will be sold only on ‘mother-ground.com’, without any additional distribution stages.

That guarantees lower prices to customers.

3-1. SINBALJANG 신발장

<마더그라운드 신발장>은 자판기처럼 사람이 없어도 신발을 구매할 수 있는 모습을 상상하며 기획한 마더그라운드만의 판매방식입니다. 마더그라운드가 좋아하는 공간 안에 마더그라운드의 거의 모든 제품이 진열된 신발장을 마련하였고, 소비자는 자유롭게 제품을 신어본 후 카운터에서 제품을 주문해 주시면 택배로 발송해드리는 방식입니다. 현재 <신발장>은 제주 성산 <플레이스캠프>, 제주 섭지코지<페이보릿 아일랜드>, 서울 성수 <언커먼아이웨어>,  단양 <카페 산>에 설치되어 있습니다. 앞으로 더 다양한 공간에서 신발장을 선보이려고 합니다.

(Shoe Rack) is a new type of sales method we designed. You can buy our products without anyone’s help, like vending machine. We made a beautiful shoe rack to show you almost every products we make, and set it up at one of our favorite spaces. You can meet our Sinbaljang (Shoe Rack) at Jeju, <Uncommon Eyewear> Seoul and <Cafe SANN> Danyang. We will make more shoe racks in more good places.

3-2. BOBU STORE 보부스토어

유통비를 최소화 하기 위해 마더그라운드는 공식 온라인스토어에서만 제품을 판매합니다. 이를 보완하는 것을 넘어서 조금은 재미있는 방식으로 오프라인에서 소비자와 만나고자 했고 그 고민의 결과가 ‘보부스토어’ 입니다. 고정된 장소 없이 전국의 장을 돌며 판매하는 옛 보부상들에게 모티브를 얻은 ‘보부스토어’ 입니다. 가수가 ‘전국투어’ 하듯이 마더그라운드의 컨셉과 이야기가 맞닿아 있는 스토어를 돌면서 협업하고 판매하는 릴레이 방식의 팝업 스토어 입니다. 대한민국 내에서 68번의 보부스토어를 열었으며 앞으로도 다양한 공간과 지역에서 마더그라운드의 제품을 보부스토어를 통해 선보이고자 합니다.

To give customers better prices, we will stay as an on-line based store. But we also want to meet you in person to introduce us, our products and our thoughts. That’s why we thought about Bobu store idea, derived from the Bobusang, the old Korean peddler. As the Bobusang goes around everywhere to meet customers, we will go anywhere to share our thoughts and stories, in the shape of a pop-up store. 3-3. BOBO STORE 보보스토어

2024년 10월부터 2026년 8월까지 데스커의 서포트로 서울 마포구 연남동 데스커 스토어 1층에서 '보보스토어'를 운영합니다.

전국 각지를 돌며 보부스토어를 열고 닫기를 60번 이상을 반복하고 있습니다. 이름만 보부스토어가 아닌 우린 정말 보부상 그 자체였습니다. 많은 지역에서 다양한 사람들을 만나며 소중한 경험을 쌓았습니다. 그렇게 보부스토어는 마더그라운드의 또 다른 이름이 되었습니다. 그러던 중 잠시 보부상의 지게를 내려놓을 곳이 생겼습니다.
서울 연남동의 한 공간에서 약 2년 동안 지게를 내려놓고 여러분을 맞이하려고 합니다. 2년이라는 짧고도 긴 시간 동안 열 61번째 보부스토어의 이름은 ‘보보스토어’입니다. 누군가는 느리다고 생각할 수 있는 마더그라운드가 걷고 있는 한걸음 한걸음을 표현한 이름입니다. 멈춰 있어 보이는 모든 것들이 사실 끊임없이 움직이고 있는 것처럼 이곳에서 또 한걸음 한걸음 걸어가며 변화하고 성장하는 마더그라운드가 되고 싶습니다.

From October 2024 to August 2026, with the support of DESKER, we will be operating “Bobo Store” on the first floor of the DESKER Store in Yeonnam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul.

Traveling across the country, we have opened and closed our Bobu Store more than 60 times. We weren’t just borrowing the name—we truly lived as BOBUSANG (The Korean traditional pedler), carrying our goods from place to place. Along the way, we met countless people in many regions and gathered invaluable experiences. Through this journey, the Bobu Store became another name for Motherground itself. Then, we found a place where we could finally set down our carrying frame for a while. In a space in Yeonnam-dong, Seoul, we will pause for about two years and welcome you. During this short yet long period, our 61st Bobu Store is named “Bobo Store.” The name reflects the steady, deliberate steps that Motherground continues to take—steps that some may consider slow. Just as things that appear still are, in truth, constantly moving, we hope this space will be where Motherground continues to walk forward, step by step—changing, growing, and evolving along the way.
